Milton Moments
I am a retired Supervising Deputy Probation Officer for Los Angeles County, where I Supervised a Juvenile Investigation Unit for Metro L.A., Intake and Supervision Units in Juvenile Hall, Juvenile Forestry Camp, as well as Supervised Adult Probation/Parole and Substance Abusers.
I am a retired Assistant Professor/Counselor at U. of Hawaii- Leeward CC, where I am currently working part-time as Director of a Federal Grant program at the college and Principal Investigator for a USDOE grant for incarcerated Native Hawaiians.
I am an NCC, MAC and SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) for the Dept. of Transportation. Also, I am a National Board Certified Fellow in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I co-wrote the text and taught college credit courses in clinical hypnotherapy/guided imagery. I’ve also taught counseling courses at the college.
I am a critical incident (crisis counselor) for the Red Cross.
